My sister is my luxury travel agent and I’ve created this space so that I can talk about all the amazing work my sister does as my luxury travel advisor extraordinaire.

Did you know that luxury travel agents can get you perks that you can’t get on your own? I didn’t. The first time my sis booked my luxe travel for me, I got a whole new level of VIP benefits I had been completely unaware of. My first reaction was one of delight. You mean, this is for me? I’m getting this for free? I get to do this? My second reaction was one of bewilderment. Why doesn’t everybody book with a travel agent? Why is this the first time I’m hearing about this? How can I spread the word? I decided that the best thing for me to do was to create a website where I could spread the word. I’m convinced that everyone is better off booking with a luxury travel advisor, and I’m even more convinced that I know the best one.
From Attorney to Advisor
Becoming my Luxury Travel Agent
Maybe she wasn’t busy enough as an attorney with a new baby (I know that can’t be true). For a while I thought it was so that she could get a tax write-off (turns out that wasn’t true, either). But for reasons I’m not completely sure of, my brilliant sister decided to become a luxury travel agent. To be honest, it made a lot of sense to me. She was already a world-traveller with a love for all things of a lavish-nature. Her passport was enviable to be sure. And with lots of wealthy friends and family, she was sure to be kept busy planning their cruises and getaways.
I knew that she’d be an amazing luxury travel advisor. Being an attorney meant she would pay attention to the details and excel at the research and planning aspects. Being from Hawaii would mean that she’d have local insights for those in need of a Hawaii luxury vacation and honeymoon specialist. I knew that she’d make sure things were done to her standards and that her love of travel would be an asset. What I couldn’t know was just how many people needed her services or that she would become so well-referenced that she’d end up needing to hire me on as her booking assistant. And that’s how my sister became a luxury travel agent in Hawaii.
